It is unnecessary to have both like I do unless you love the Bleu de Chanel scent DNA and want it to be your signature. The EDP is considered as more refined and less loud than the EDT. The EDT is considered more loud and youth-oriented. Based on the price and quality, the EDP might be the best bet. But if you are going to the decant route, EDP's and Parfum's price difference isn't big. In my opinion Bleu De Chanel EDP is perfection as it hits just the right balance between freshness and depth. The Parfum is also excellent, but very similar- just heavier on the Sandalwood and stays closer to the skin.
